 I drove here from New Jersey - left October 11th and arrived here six days later - what a long-ass drive man! I would never do it alone again! My med adherence was waaay off or that week - otherwise, I am happy to say that I am 100% compliant...I don't sweat the small stuff. It took me six days since I was alone basically....had my two "boys" in tow - orange and tabby brothers...and they "complained" the entire fucking way! Now, they are "home"and happy although moving in was a trip! I basically carried everything I own up three flights of stairs to my new apt. and withn a week, I knew my back was fried. i'm still recovering...anyone up to offering a massage? I mean it! My knots have knots!
So far, Phoneix has been good to me. I lived in SoCal for ten years (1990 -2000), tended bar at The Gauntlet II in LA p/t Saturday nights for a few years. Now, I have not set foot in a bar with few excpetions, in a long time.
So here I sit in my new place, callling my buds back in the NYC metro area and giving them a rash of shit as it's been int he twenties there for a few days now....no more ball-shrinking cold for me! I threw out the snow shovel with the bathwater!!!
And for tose who do read, Asking someone from NJ "What exit?" merits total disdain from us Jerseyans! LOL Believe it or not, I did not, as some might have yuo believe, grow up next to an oil refinery! I was raised in the far NE corner of the state - while that's within spitting distance of NYC, it's also a world away. The "burbs" are frren...but admittedly now overdeveloped...and a million bucks might buy you the acre to build on in some areas- even in this sad and saggy market.
So, seriously....anyone with good, strong hands willing to offer a budy in some pain some relief? I'll be your total bitch for a day! LOL
